Fromager (also known as Obeche, Ayous, or Samba; botanical name Triplochiton scleroxylon) is a lightweight West African hardwood. Finger-jointed fromager panels offer a stable, smooth surface ideal for furniture core stock, interior door cores, and general joinery. Lightweight yet workable, fromager panels are easy to machine, glue, and finish. Available in various thicknesses and standard sheet sizes.
