We have completed sample production and lab testing of FSC-certified ash finger-joint panels, targeting the European furniture manufacturing sector. Panels are available in standard widths (600mm, 800mm, 1200mm) with moisture content controlled to 8–10%. Initial feedback from UK buyers has been positive — we are now moving to bulk trial orders.
Working with our partner mill in Shandong, we have developed a melamine-faced panel range with E0.5 formaldehyde emission, suitable for indoor retail applications. The panels pass EN 13986 and are available in white, grey oak, and beech finishes. Sample packs dispatched to three UK buyers.
Expanded our anti-slip plywood range to include 18mm and 21mm WBP (phenolic) glue options for Middle East construction projects. Wire-mesh pattern on one side, smooth film on reverse. First container loaded for a UAE building materials distributor.
A full container of 1220×2440×18mm commercial plywood (poplar core, WBP glue) loaded and shipped from Qingdao port to Immingham, UK. Pre-shipment inspection completed: moisture content 10–12%, thickness tolerance ±0.3mm, surface quality verified. All documentation (PI, PL, BL, CO) checked for consistency before loading.
Conducted a full-day factory visit and quality audit at our pine blockboard supplier in Linyi, Shandong. Checked finger-joint strength, core lamination quality, and sanding finish. Identified minor issues with edge trimming tolerance — corrective action plan agreed with the mill manager. Updated our QC checklist accordingly.
Completed delivery of a 20′ container of LVL bed slats (beech/birch face, multi-species core) to a UK bedding manufacturer. Slats produced to customer-specified dimensions with radius edges and UV finish. Third-party lab report confirmed formaldehyde emission within EN 717-1 limits.
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires all wood products placed on the EU market to be deforestation-free and legally sourced. We have been working with our FSC-certified supply chain to prepare due diligence documentation, including geolocation data of harvesting sites. If you are an EU buyer and need EUDR documentation, please contact us early in the order process.
Container rates from major Chinese ports (Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo) to Northern Europe have stabilised after the Q1 peak. Current rates for 40′ HQ to Immingham/Felixstowe are competitive. We continue to work with multiple forwarders to secure the best combination of rate, transit time, and reliability for our buyers.
UK construction output continues to recover, with residential building starts up year-on-year. Structural panel demand — including OSB3, structural plywood, and film-faced plywood for concrete formwork — is expected to remain strong through 2026. We are expanding our OSB3 and film-faced plywood supply capacity to meet this demand.
