Film Faced Plywood, also known as shuttering plywood or concrete formwork plywood, is a high-performance construction panel engineered for repeated use in concrete forming. Both surfaces are coated with a phenolic resin film overlay — creating a smooth, hard, and extremely durable surface that resists moisture, chemicals, abrasion, and weathering.
The film is bonded to the core veneers under high temperature and pressure, producing a surface that delivers excellent concrete finishes and can be reused many times. All edges are sealed with water-dispersible acrylic paint to protect against moisture ingress from the sides.
